Meet Millie- The staffy lover! Millie grew up in the UK and came to Australia for a holiday and was quick to stay. You’ll find her around all places in the clinic; attending to hospital patients, monitoring surgeries and will jump on any opportunity to take x-rays.
When she is not looking after your fur babies, you’ll find her perched up on a beach with her partner and two dogs, Nelly and Finn- who she recently adopted through the clinic.
Katie recently became a fully qualified veterinary nurse, having spent two years volunteering and studying all there is to know to give your furry babies the best quality care. Katie is passionate about nursing our patients and providing advice and comfort to our wonderful clients.
Katie has enjoyed every moment getting to know everyone who comes through the doors at James Street.
Emma first started vet nursing in 2008 and since then she has never left the industry.
She keeps super busy with her 3 dogs (Beau turbo and Murphy), 4 cats (Nugget, Mintie, Buddy and Trigger) and her horse. “You can call me crazy but i am not the craziest one here.”
Emma is a core part on our busy surgery days and we are very lucky to have her.
This is sweet Aneika, she is the bright light on our long days. Aneika has been nursing for a long time and has found a passion for dental procedures. “I love that no day is the same.” When she is not in clinic she is either at the beach or at home with her husband, Pomeranian Maxie, Chihuahua Cosmo and Austin her Ginger cat. If you see her big smile floating around the clinic, say Hi!
Melisa came to us in 2023 with a dedication to learn as she completes her final years of veterinary science at university. Her love for animals began in her small hometown in Colombia. When Mel is not in her study bubble, her cattle dog Gus keeps her busy and enjoys latin dancing with any spare hour she finds. She hopes to help provide veterinary care for your pets in the future. If you see her big smile floating around the clinic, say hi!
Pauline found us all the way from Paris, where she grew up with the dream to move to golden Australia. She completed her vet nursing certificate in France and after 6 years she decided to make the dream move. While continuing her passion and learning English, Pauline loves spending time down the Gold Coast surfing and exploring. Pauline has been a wonderful addition to our team, her calm and easy going energy is just what we need during the chaos!
Head Nurse
You’ll find Fay in emergency surgeries or giving essential cuddles to the patients and managing our incredible team of nurses. With her abundance of knowledge from the past 6 years of nursing she thrives in teaching and patient care. When Fay is not in the clinic she cares for her own team, a kelpie Tori, a horse Apollo and a french bulldog, Pepi.
